Pre-match thread Hawks v Imps

Yes I am finding the BBC's obsession with Salford a bit OTT no doubt their 2nd round tie has already been selected for Live TV coverage!!

Just looked at the Whitehawk website. They have got some decent players.

Potential banana skin

Of course it's a potential banana skin. Anyone who doesn't think that is either being complacent or knows very little about the FA Cup and our history in it.

I really hope CM & more important the players, have the right attitude for this game. Chris Bush's interview sounded a bit too casual for me. We're almost the underdogs potentially with their record, players and home advantage. Love to get a win today but wouldn't be disappointed with a draw. If it's a draw does that mean the Aldershot game gets put back?

been raining heavily in the South East all day, more forecast tomorrow so a heavy pitch may suit us better than them??

No rain forecast for today until 8 or 9 pm. Should be a dry one.

I think the Salford City story is a great one. Ex-professional footballers take over a lower league club and putting something back into the game that has provided them with their fortune. Personally, I don't believe the new owners are in it for the short term. Much sooner have people such as the Nevilles etc. taking on clubs than the FGR weirdo!

Pretty sure any replay will be on Tuesday Nov 17th. Once we get to the 1st round and beyond replays have to be at least 7 days after the first game mainly on police advice. Potentially all the hordes of Whitehawk fans will take some controlling.n
Snap your hand off for a draw today.
