Very interesting, thanks for thatAn update on our local/County teams:
Closest to home, Lincoln United finished second in the United Counties league, but were beaten at home by Skegness Town in the semi-final on Saturday. So Skeggy are now in the play-off final.
In non-league tier 2, NL North, Scunny (finished second) and Boston (6th) are in the play-offs.
In tier 3 the season hasn’t finished yet with a match to go, but Winterton and Grantham are currently in the two relegation places from NPL East. Both could still avoid drop depending on game in hand/other results. If Grantham are relegated, it will be a big fall for them, having been relegated from the NPL Prem only 2 years ago.
Spalding are currently top of the NPL Midlands, but could be overtaken on final day. Worst case they finish second and enter the playoffs.
Stamford currently one place below playoffs in Southern League Prem Central, but could still sneak in depending on their own and two or three other final day results. Promotion would be to NLN.
A note on Womens’ teams:
LCFC Women will retain their place at Womens’ Tier 4 (imo were looking a bit precarious at one stage).
Lincoln United Women have won their step 5 league, so presumably will be eligible for promotion, and play in same league as Imps?
A note on phoenix versions of previous league rivals:
Macclesfield will finish second in the NPL Prem, and go into the playoffs for promotion to NLN
Bury finished third in the NWCL and similarly enter the playoffs, for promotion to NPL West.

Yes disappointing for United. Hope theyre able to do it next seasonGreat work matey!
I'm guessing Winterton and Grantham will be joining Lincoln United in the united counties? Grantham are a right baffling one, they planning to have a right go at getting to the conference but now they'll be at step 5 .
United really throw it away on Saturday, went behind around the same time as City and levelled around the same time too but despite dominating the second half they couldn't get the second and then caught on the break for the second and the third was just comedy of errors . First time I've seen them lose in 90 minutes all season.
Doesn’t confirm playoffs they all have another game to playColchester v Doncaster looks an interesting tie tonight. Draw or Colchester win confirms another L2 season for them. Doncaster win confirms play offs for them. Cowleys v Adelakun.
Sorry you’re correct. I hadn’t had my first coffee when I looked at that :)Doesn’t confirm playoffs they all have another game to play
I missed the word 'on' when reading that, didn't realise they'd been doing well enough to be in the championshipGrantham won away last night, out of the bottom two. Away at Sheffield on Wednesday
Smith v Adelakun, two members of the current squad playing against each other on loan for other teams, rare one that.Colchester v Doncaster looks an interesting tie tonight. Draw or Colchester win confirms another L2 season for them. Doncaster win confirms play offs for them. Cowleys v Adelakun.
