Ups and Downs

Boston U into extra time. Still hasn’t been a goal in the NLN playoffs.
You wonder having played 120 minutes in the week while Scunthorpe had a week off and being full time they’ll need to hold on
Scunnys gates this season have been better than some of their gates when in the league. Just shows fans want to watch winning teams irrespective of the level.

how far ahead on points where they - massive counts for nothing in the play off lottery!
Strange, our rivalry with Scunts has been just as intense at times as it has been with the delusionals over the years but i feel no joy at them missing out. Now if it were our fishy friends in their place id be laughing my tits off. The Fishys obsession with them will be in overdrive tonight, they do like to bully.

Scunthorpe’s support had become a joke while they were in the League, they almost became the club with no fans. Many who folllowed them in their adventures to the Championship deserted them when times became hard, and even in the Championship their gates had been poor. It’s good that they’ve now been reborn in a similar way to the Imps, hopefully their new and returning fans won’t desert them again after this setback.

And that massive club has been saved by relegation by a basket case club and two others. Yeah they should have an open top bus ride round cleethorpes

Sherman tank time on the newfishy pravda about scunny, 441 pages so far about them. Mind you, they still are their main rivals!

Its Grimsbys best day of the season!!! , having a real pop at Scunts and us, they really are dealing with living in our shadow very badly. Absolute tinpot club.

Solihull 3-0 up against Barnet in the National League play-off semi-final and looking good for the final (and a second trip to Wembley in as many weeks).

Would guarantee a new side in the EFL as Bromley and Altrincham meet in the other semi-final tomorrow.

Jay Benn was subbed at halftime worryingly.
Solihull have games at Wembley in successive weeks (have they always played the NL final at Wembley, thought it was a league ground?)

(have they always played the NL final at Wembley, thought it was a league ground?)
Last year it was at Wembley.
In 2022 it was at West Ham's ground
In 2021 it was at Bristol City to avoid clashes with UEFA Euro 2020 matches at Wembley.
in 2020 and going back to 2012 the games were all at Wembley.
In 2011 it was at Manchester City
In 2010 at Wembley
I haven't gone any further back than that.

NLN:

Boston will play either Chorley or Brackley in the final.

NLS:
Chelmsford 2 Braintree 3

Bromley v Altrincham is live on TNT2 at 3.30pm this afternoon. The winners play Solihull in the final.

Altrincham have been chasing a League spot for decades - will they finally make it this year?

Just updating last week’s post – acknowledge/apols that there could be some repetition from other posters:
