On what he had, he was a 4! If we’d had controversy I’m fairly certain he would have given it in Cheltenham’s favour.

Just all the niggly things and Matty Taylor went Cheltenham’s way

6 - was ok nothing more. Their Taylor absolutely smashed into Jensen, yellow all day long, but so their skipper over. I don’t think he managed the physical tussles very well, where he seemed to just give random decisions. Better than the last two though!

5 made a few errors and should have booked their Taylor for the goal on Jensen. Inconsistent in my opinion.

8 Wouldn't mind having officiating like this every week. Seemed calm and assured. Booked Cheltenham player for second half hacks. From yellow 7 cards and 1 red to zero is some turnaround. Tuesday's ref would have had a handful of City players in the book!

7 Overall he got most things right. Kept control without dishing out cards. Let the game flow where players tried to keep on their feet. Way better than the last two refs we have had.

7/10. Contradiction between him and last week’s ref, certainly in terms of cards. Tried to let the game flow and was content to just speak to offenders, for the most part.
