With their change of manager outside the transfer window, the word was that Matt Taylor didn't want Clarke-Harris and it wasn't something they'd be revisiting.

Decent appointment for them, although he didn't have too good a start at Barnsley I don't think. Not the move away from the more direct style of football that they seem to want there, though.

Also left Sunderland for Wigan on a £10k/week contract apparently as well.

Matt O'Reilly went from MK to Celtic for £1.5m (not sure if that was a release clause) a couple of years ago.

In all serioussness, there's Paul Heckingbottom, Alex Neil, Michael Duff, John Eustace they could try and tempt down. Not very often you hear any positive news coming out of Huddersfield though so I'm not sure that sort of interest they're going to have in it.

I was supposed to post this the day but forgot. I think the below is a great thread of some of the people who are involved behind the scenes that others probably haven't heard of or would even recognise.

I don't think they'd have had too many suitors for that one because they overachieved the initial overachievement. Strikes me as an appointment to minimise upheaval.

imps1 has summed it up nicely. It was a good interview and pretty much mapped out the plan for the off season and how we're approaching it, very detailed and open. Sounds like we might have an option on Erhahon as well so perhaps a 2+1 left? If Mandroiu is one of the top earners here already...
