With their change of manager outside the transfer window, the word was that Matt Taylor didn't want Clarke-Harris and it wasn't something they'd be revisiting.

Decent appointment for them, although he didn't have too good a start at Barnsley I don't think. Not the move away from the more direct style of football that they seem to want there, though.

Also left Sunderland for Wigan on a £10k/week contract apparently as well.

Matt O'Reilly went from MK to Celtic for £1.5m (not sure if that was a release clause) a couple of years ago.

Skubala, in his owns words, has gone the long route to get into football management and waited until the correct moment to jump into it, so I'd be amazed if there's anything in it.

If you'd watch MK in those two games and not realised they were PO ones, you'd have assumed the MK players had downed tools on their manager, they were absolutely stinking in both ties.

In all serioussness, there's Paul Heckingbottom, Alex Neil, Michael Duff, John Eustace they could try and tempt down. Not very often you hear any positive news coming out of Huddersfield though so I'm not sure that sort of interest they're going to have in it.
