Yeah, given our injury issues, that would make sense. From my vague knowledge of the U18s seems one or two regulars missing, maybe travelling with the 1st team
To be fair, it should be covered by whoever is running the Academy accounts. Why does the club not give out the u18s results?
Looks like Okoro and Okewoye both missing. Jersey Lopez, too, but he hasn't played for the U18s for a few games now. From my vague knowledge of the U18s seems one or two regulars missing, maybe travelling with the 1st team
The official site is very vague - no match reports to speak of. This is what is there for the last game, against Bradford...no mention of scorers, chances etc.To be fair, it should be covered by whoever is running the Academy accounts.
Sam Tillen wants a response from his side after Friday’s 3-1 defeat away at Bradford City.
A loss to Bradford saw the young Imps record back-to-back losses for the first time since December, and Tillen wants to see his side return to form, with just three games left to play in the season.
He said: “I hope we can get back to being more solid defensively and more creative and effective in the final third when we play again next Friday.”
Tillen saw some positives from Friday and has encouraged his side to be more ruthless in the final third over the final few weeks of the 2023/24 campaign.
He added: “The first half was relatively even, we showed some decent build up play but lacked clear cut chances. When we did get them, we were not clinical enough and lacked some composure.”
