There was one rumour that it was to do with his assistant thumping someone on the pitch at Crawley and Harris sticking up for him ala Bonne, but who knows. You could argue we didn’t see much ‘football’ under him last year, so it could be taken at face value!

By my reckoning last season we played 11 league fixtures that were away from the Saturday 3pm kick offs. I don’t mind a small increase but would also like to see them broadcast Saturday 3pm ones.

To me the Saturday 3pm ban ignored the whole reason why people don’t go to football matches: because it’s expensive.

We won’t mention Jack Tucker’s return to MK’s defence!

Bradford were allowed to play on a pitch like this while another club couldn’t pay their players a few times this season, but a revenue-making, fixture-backlog-saving feature like a modern plastic pitch is a no-no 😂

To me there are derbies and there are rivalries. A derby is just a local-ish match, though not limited to just your nearest club or the same city/county. A rivalry is a match between two teams that is based on some real grudge.

Let alone giving the job to someone in his first head coach role, and demanding the play-offs with barely a window.
