    Pre-season friendlies.

Sheppey away Friday 26th July. Who said we’re not getting off mainland Britain?!

Depends if the harpist looks like that!

The Accrington owner has suggested that they voted the deal through without knowing many details.

    Harris

There was one rumour that it was to do with his assistant thumping someone on the pitch at Crawley and Harris sticking up for him ala Bonne, but who knows. You could argue we didn’t see much ‘football’ under him last year, so it could be taken at face value!

By my reckoning last season we played 11 league fixtures that were away from the Saturday 3pm kick offs. I don’t mind a small increase but would also like to see them broadcast Saturday 3pm ones.

To me the Saturday 3pm ban ignored the whole reason why people don’t go to football matches: because it’s expensive.

    Mark Bonner

Not read it myself as I’m trying to juggle a day’s work but I’m definitely interested now 😂 Interesting tweet from Bonner the other month:

    New Manager (Rumours and Suggestions)

Like with Gills Horse, I was excited by Warburton or maybe Duff. Ainsworth is contentious but has credentials. Not unhappy with Bonner though. He got Cambridge out of this league as runners up 3 years ago before finishing 14th the next season. Not sure what their budget was like. Took a nose...

    New Manager (Rumours and Suggestions)

I get that, I remember even clubs like Arsenal having postponents these last few seasons due to the surrounding roads. But an artificial pitch will still cut down on many cancellations and will ensure a harsh winter won’t destroy the pitch for the rest of the season. Not to mention the...

    New Manager (Rumours and Suggestions)

Bradford were allowed to play on a pitch like this while another club couldn’t pay their players a few times this season, but a revenue-making, fixture-backlog-saving feature like a modern plastic pitch is a no-no 😂

    New Manager (Rumours and Suggestions)

It’s a farce how artificial pitches were deemed good enough for the Champions League final in Russia but not for Sutton vs Forest Green in the 4th tier of English football. We should especially be looking at these pitches given the appalling state of some of the accepted pitches this year. Not...

    The Kent Derby

To me there are derbies and there are rivalries. A derby is just a local-ish match, though not limited to just your nearest club or the same city/county. A rivalry is a match between two teams that is based on some real grudge.

    New Manager (Rumours and Suggestions)

Let alone giving the job to someone in his first head coach role, and demanding the play-offs with barely a window.
