    The Climate Emergency

I like to be couth and refer to it as hypocrisy and double standards :grinning:

verdict on signings last summer... and what to expect this summer?

Summer recruitment is off the scale importance wise as we are likely to get weaker before we get stronger when you wonder how many of Sorensen, Jensen, Erhahon and Taylor will be here next season for starters. Also whether you rate them or not, Bishop and Mandroiu both possibly leaving the club...

verdict on signings last summer... and what to expect this summer?

Of course there is a subjectivity to it all, but I reckon Wrexham, Stockport, Mansfield are more likely to pack a punch than say, Cheltenham, Carlisle, Port Vale. Wigan may supposedly be having cut backs and who knows what is happening with Reading, but history tells us cheating barstewards...

    1,350,000 Shares Purchased

I think a deal that initially includes taking over McG contract would make a lot of sense for both clubs and the player. In effect, nobody loses out in that scenario. The big investment just before the end of the season will have balanced the books, this investment may well be to oil the...

verdict on signings last summer... and what to expect this summer?

Don't forget Taylor as a successful loan and McGrandles was heading that way before injury struck. Throw in Jack Moylan as an important cameo in a few games and I would say recruitment was a 7.5, probably stitched up to some extent by the number and duration of the injuries.

    Israel/Palestine

The silent majority were no longer silent though were they after they'd voted, as they were the established majority when it came to choosing the Israeli or Palestinian cause. And yes it was totally about that because the extremists had ensured it was in the build up to the freak show. Well the...

    Israel/Palestine

I don't watch the heavily politicised freak show crap that is Eurovision but there's no denying it acts as a barometer of public and political opinion. Interesting then that despite all the usual suspects carrying out a concerted and high profile campaign of antisemitism and hatred against the...

Not only did they not get a fee but he also played his part in keeping them down. Top effort by Clark Harris.

    The Climate Emergency

If you 'know' that, why the big ta da, confirming what I'd already said :ROFLMAO: and making out I'd said something misleading or inaccurate. Anybody would think you were trying to 'big up' the (optional) piffling local authority transgression into something major and of relevance......which it...

    The Climate Emergency

Yeah that's why I called it a piffling offence of idling. Also, (and as a legally trained person you should know this) the Highway Code itself does not create offences. Idling offences are catered for under legislation which allows local authorities to tax raise revenue through targeting...

    EFL Retained Lists

Nice for Posh to miss out on a fee for Clark-Harris; although they probably sadly retain significant interest in Taylor, Smalldicks and Toney.
